As nomeações dos Grammy Awards 2017 já são conhecidas. Beyoncé é a artista feminina com mais indicações de sempre deste prémio. A cantora volta a fazer história arrecadando mais nove nomeações, sendo a primeira artista a ser nomeada ao mesmo tempo nas categorias pop, rock, R&B e rap. Beyoncé lidera a lista dos nomeados seguida por Rihanna, Drake e Kanye West, que disputam oito categorias.
Lançado de surpresa em abril deste ano, “Lemonade” atingiu o sucesso de vendas, ao transmitir uma forte mensagem sobre separação, feminismo e discriminação. A revista americana Rolling Stone considerou “Lemonade” como melhor álbum de 2016 e o hit “Formation” como a melhor música do ano.
A cerimónia de entrega dos prémios vai ser apresentada por James Corden e vai ter lugar a 12 de Fevereiro em Los Angeles.
